I have a second 1/537 kit that I can use for a comparison. Before filling the Aztec lines on the left. After sanding on the right. Still got the lower saucer, nacelles and one half of the secondary hull to do.

Scraped out channels inside each pylon to accommodate a 3mm metal tube that will carry electrical wires to the nacelles.

I need to drill new window holes in the Eagle’s neck section as they are in the wrong position, so I brought my 1/350 scale refit down to use as a reference.

Upgraded the saucer’s impulse engines with a more accurate part that’s also easier to light. Before and After. Next up is filling all the Aztec panel lines with milliput. This is going to be fun </sarcasm>.
