Okay folks, 14000 meters almost 9 miles and over 1000 calories later, Iâm fried. I only have a few thousand to go, but will fix that as soon as I crash for a while, and find food, because rowing like that makes you feel every bit of it by the end⊠Nevertheless, Iâll finish this today without a problem. #Concept2 #DogDaysOfSummerChallenge

12,000 plus meters row done, I burned almost 1000 calories, had mango nectar, and tons of water, and a much needed shower. What this amounts to equals over half of the 40,000 meters of the #DogDaysOfSummer challenge by #Concept2 finished. Every week in August raises your required rowing 10,000 meters, week 1 beginning at 10, week 2 was 20,000, and onward. My plan is to finish all of it by tomorrow night, and since I now have only 17,000 and change left to do, this should be cake. Night night all.
After moving to a fully snowified area in the winter months, Iâm glad to have invested in a rower. It doesnât force me to get out of the house for training, which is a negative, but it does provide easily reachable training. Would highly recommend for people working from remotely. Also more compact for storage than a treadmill.
If you decide to get one or have one already, the EXR app gamifies rowing sessions, which have been a great experience.

Mein Plan fĂŒr diese Woche #mdRzA zu gelangen, wurde je förmlich auf Eis gelegt. Die Minusgrade allein Schrecken mich ja nicht, aber dass es hier Nachts immer noch schneit oder regnet lĂ€sst mich nach meiner Sturzeskapade im Oktober vorsichtig werden. đ
