Thanks for sharing the article & congratulations on your good work.
The knowledge network you are building has many traits of what I started to build in #Chicago in 1993 to help youth #tutor #mentor programs grow in high poverty areas.
This #conceptmap shows a 4-part strategy that I've piloted. I think you're doing much of the same. http://tinyurl.com/TMI-4-Pt-Strategy
I added a link to your article in this section of my library. https://tutormentorexchange.net/resource-links/collaboration-process-improvement/collaboration-community-building

I've had same experiences.
I created this #conceptmap in the late 2000s to visualize a goal of building learning habits among youth and volunteers so they would seek information from our websites while we were trying to draw them to these sites. https://cmapspublic.ihmc.us/rid=1238727620187_255505336_30235/CC%20Learning%20Goals.cmap
As platforms change we lose some of those who were visitors. If we can influence habits, maybe more of those people will seek us out on new platforms.
That's the goal. Not yet achieved.
I created this #conceptmap in the mid 2000s to visualize the talents and networks that I was trying to engage with via conferences I hosted in #Chicago and on-line platforms, email lists, etc. View at https://cmapspublic.ihmc.us/rid=1238727620187_1999034880_30242/Tutor%20Mentor%20Connection%20Network%20Analysis%20-%20Skills.cmap
I've found some of those people on LinkedIn, some on Facebook, some on Twitter, but not in any single place. Nor are they in conversations intended to build systems of support for kids in high poverty.
I may join Threads, but not till it is PC based.
This #conceptmap visualizes an information-based problem solving strategy, which is what I think you are describing. https://cmapspublic.ihmc.us/rid=1PTQP461V-1RZ3CRV-2M7X/PlanningCycle.cmap
Here's a #conceptmap that shows that wealthy and poor have many of the same conditions and problems.
The wealthy have more resources, as you say, to deal with these issues than do the poor.
See the map at https://cmapspublic.ihmc.us/rid=1NYRZ33L1-FSPG2-31NZ/Connecting%20Rich%20and%20Poor%20in%20America.cmap
I've seen articles like this in the past, but too few that mobilize people & resources to change the condition of poverty in places where it is most concentrated.
Here's an article & #conceptmap showing resources I've been aggregating. https://tutormentor.blogspot.com/2017/12/applying-public-health-strategy-to.html

In this Tweet I share a #conceptmap showing #intermediary orgs who support youth serving programs in #Chicago. https://twitter.com/tutormentorteam/status/1633601121041240064?s=20
Ideally each of these programs would be pointing to me and each other on their websites and there would be people in other cities creating similar graphics.

When I talk of #ecosystems I mean all the people and organizations who need to be involved to help a #nonprofit #youthdevelopment program be effective over multiple years.
This #conceptmap is one visualization showing who needs to be involved. See at https://cmapspublic.ihmc.us/rid=1238727620187_1999034880_30242/Tutor%20Mentor%20Connection%20Network%20Analysis%20-%20Skills.cmap
Here's a #tutormentor blog article where I use this graphic. https://tutormentor.blogspot.com/2022/11/mapping-complexity.html

I shared this #conceptmap on the other platform this morning. https://twitter.com/tutormentorteam/status/1622271618654380032?s=20&t=WJECUdrH2ITmSeRhoPHxHA
View my Tweets and see more like it.
I encourage others to create their own versions of these, focused on their own city, since mine focus mostly on #Chicago.
Nice to meet you.
Too bad we have not connected earlier, like in 1990s when I launched Tutor/Mentor Connection in Chicago. It is an information-based problem solving strategy. Library I've built since then is a resource for all.
This #conceptmap shows sections of the library. http://tinyurl.com/TMI-libraryFull
The library is part of Step 1 in a 4-part strategy described in this #conceptmap. https://cmapspublic.ihmc.us/rid=1238727620187_574980422_30250/four%20part%20strategy.cmap
Step 2 focuses on getting people to use the library. Step 3 focuses on facilitation and helping people understand and apply the information.
Step 4 applies the first three efforts in on-going actions that affect people in specific geographic areas. In my work that would mean helping well-organized #tutormentor programs grow & reach k-12 kids in more high poverty places.
I posted this on Twitter today. https://twitter.com/tutormentorteam/status/1620449427717754881?s=20&t=7qYT06LqX3BsEIdADtAjlA
It's a #conceptmap showing 4-part problem-solving strategy that I've piloted since 1993. Apply the strategy in any city, to any problem.
Thanks. I just shared my #conceptmap with them on Twitter.
It looks like they still use it.
I created this #conceptMap several years to visualize the external challenges that affect a child's performance in school. https://cmapspublic.ihmc.us/rid=1SV6LFW40-1CRY9MM-47Z/BirthToWork-Challenges-USA.cmap
I'd like to find others creating their own visual blueprints of this issue, then a place where they are talking to each other about ways to get more people to view these and respond.
I use this #conceptmap to show #data #maps in my #tutormentor library. These all focus on various indicators of #poverty. https://cmapspublic.ihmc.us/rid=1P554W2G5-241DHY0-32ZJ/MappingData.cmap
I also show examples of how I've embedded maps in blog articles.
I'd like to find people who are a) creating platforms like this; and b) using them to tell stories that inform the public and support decision-making and resource-flow into more of the areas where the maps show that people need more help.
Please boost. Introduce yourself.

hive mind, can you help me find my ideal #mindmap #conceptmap tool?
i want it to work on all platforms, allow you to hand draw a map and then digitise it, where all those nodes are also databased (not just 'outline view' but fully searchable/sortable). and ideally also has collab functions (maybe via dig whiteboard or equiv) as well as export/easily viewable to private group online (in its fully dynamic form).
been looking for this unicorn for years. it probably still doesn't exist yet.
ta!
This #conceptmap shows many #data visualization platforms that can be used to tell stories of where poverty is most concentrated in the USA.
Using these people can create stories that draw attention & resources to these areas. I show some examples of how I've done that over the past 20 years. https://cmapspublic.ihmc.us/rid=1P554W2G5-241DHY0-32ZJ/MappingData.cmap
I encourage people in other countries to create similar libraries.

#DidYouKnow A #ConceptMap or conceptual diagram is a diagram that depicts suggested relationships between concepts.
Here is how you can view conceptual relationship among different topics in #KnowledgeZone.

Do anyone knows of a graph/concept map software where it's possible to link an individual sentence's word, which is inside a node/balloon, to another node/balloon?
Bonus points if it can link to another page/document too.
CmapTools don't let me do this.
Searching for alternatives, preferentially offline/desktop ones.
