So the idea was born and my colleague Rostislav Apraksin started a project to see if there is a link between the performance of the resulting PEDOT:PSS films and some property of the additives. Turned out, the Hofmeister series (which I had not heard of being used in electrochemical applications) could, to some extent, predict the properties of the films obtained.
