Another game I played this weekend was one scenario of from . I had played it a long time ago so I needed to refresh a rules little bit.

I must say, every time I open the box, am absolutely blown away by the quality of the components. I adore the illustrations on the counters with easily legible information. Counters are sooo thick! I like just looking around beautifully illustrated maps. And it even comes with its own storage solution! All games should be like this.

Rules are not complicated. 3rd edition involves a lot of die rolling to see if a unit can preform more actions this round. It could be tedious, but I can see positives of this system as well. Shooting and moving is pretty straightforward. What I don't like that much is casualty system and missing supression mechanic. I think that this system is a great next step for someone entering wargaming, for example from playing .

I am looking forward to comparing this system to , which I have received recently. From glancing over the rules, I guess, that it could incentivize more realistic behavior of players. I am going to test it, hopefully sooner tham later. After that I hope, that I can provide some meaningful comparsion of these tactical WW2 systems.
