Chat. Wir nutzen schon eine @nextcloud als Dateiablage, aber bei der wurden von Hochschulseite aus nur die Dateiablage und @ONLYOFFICE freigeschaltet. Aber ihr Ideen und Erfahrungen? #Confluence sieht zB gut aus

A while ago I started exploring #OrgMode / #OrgRoam (in #Emacs), & later also its ability to export documents into other formats, like HTML pages, PDF files, and #Atlassian #Confluence markup.

That last was still a bit of a pain, repeatedly copying the output into the Confluence edit interface (after clearing content, etc).

I've automated that now using the Confluence (Server) API. Just add a few “#+confluence-*” attributes and create a config file, then run a script.

#Notion is cloudy and therefore incredibly slow. #Confluence is very good for America's first lunar program given its complexity, cost and modernity.
#Obsidian is my choice at the moment. It can be synchronized with whatever you want. The base weighs like it was written for that lunar program. There are some problems with giving out access, but that's the fun of it.

A tip for using #mermaid diagrams on #confluence : add semicolons to your line endings.

This makes it easier to transfer diagrams to different pages if/when Confluence annoyingly decides to strip out newlines when copy-pasting.

How to use the Atlassian Python API to set the tags for all pages who are children of the page with the URL provider. You can pass the entire URL, no need to pass a page ID: the script finds the proper page ID for you.

It requires a Confluence personal access token (PAT) which is assumed to live in `./ConfluencePAT`.
