Soo … Saturday saw the first gig for the new band 12 Degrees Below (apt given the temperatures but we are the house band of the 12 Degrees pub and we play in the basement)! An albeit invited and friendly audience seemed to enjoy the night. Two more gigs to come in January!

It is not a bongo. Nor is it a table to put your coffee on.

Polishing drums today - a rare, but mindful experience. Playing congas provides an earthy, tactile connection with rhythm. Rhythm is like a hug for the soul.
