It's also an example of the lack of #oversight #Congress provides to agencies; Congress basically writes a law and goes on its merry way while agencies violate the law like Education did, and HUD does (targeting trans/non-binary ppl and mixed-immigration status families.

The #CongressionalReviewAct was a nice idea, but it's not enough. Agencies regularly play fast and loose with regulation, violating people's rights in the process.
