I think I found a nice solution to how players can select lexemes as fast as possible.

The idea is to represent each lexeme as a sequence of shapes, for example Pizza could be: Circle and X.

That way I can map each shape to a button in the keyboard or gamepad.

When a lexeme is placed the game can show how the shapes form a picture, for example the circle representing the Pizza and the X the cuts for each portion. And allow mnemotechnics. 🍕

I am nowhere close to a functional #conlang after six months of work, and it's already so monstrously big that it's difficult to change things.

But hey, progress is progress:

Basically it's an (in-universe) Spanish #auxlang with other Romance languages mixed in. I wonder how readable this is to someone with a proper Romance background?
