Lately I've made a huge breakthrough in teaching myself concertina & a couple other instruments, & understanding how music works generally. I've quit focusing so much on what's written out on sheet music and getting that right, and I've just been playing freely, noodling around, figuring out tunes by ear and muscle memory. Tonight was the first time I really felt like I was "jamming" on the concertina, fingers flying, making mistakes, but letting the music flow through me. 🎶
