Retrial jury discharged last month after failing to reach verdict. "complainant was consulted, having been through 2 trials, did not wish to go through a 3 trial." "He believed the complainant had consented to sex although she had said earlier that she did not want to have sex that night."

Watching Constable: The Rural Rebel. It was in #BBC4. May be on #Iplayer. He had a conventional, conservative background, but was not in his #art, when #painting. The programme goes into his complex paintings and personal life. Worth watching for folk interested in #Constable.
