Idea for a #ConstitutionalAmendment Government shall make no law defining, nor prohibiting how its citizens make decisions concerning their body, medical care, identity, gender, or sexuality. The government may only make law for the protection and preservation of this right.

We NEED Justin Amash as speaker of the House for now. He really knows what changes NEED to be made with the procedures of the House.
Then we will be able to work on getting an amendment to OUR Constitution to due away with all political parties. This will give back MUCH power to We The People. It is the ONLY way to make REAL change happen.

@rbreich Unfortunately, needs either a reversal by #SCOTUS or a #ConstitutionalAmendment, neither of which I see happening for a long time.

What we (reasonable people i.e. Democrats) propose to do about the #SCOTUS problem need to be driven by TWO factors:
1) What would be objectively best.
2) What is ACHIEVABLE in the current power structure. For example: anything that depends upon a #ConstitutionalAmendment is a fantasy for the foreseeable future.
