Voters in Ohio defeated a vote that would have given very undemocratic power to the existing constitution. The idea was that they'd take advantage of people enjoying the summer to slip through this vote to make it much harder to pass a November ballot to insure that 'every individual has a right to make and carry out one's own reproductive decisions'.
