Not only did the #honoraryconsulate in #Kampala #Uganda give me the wrong forms etc after I got mugged and I had to urgently get a new passport, but they overcharged me. Now it's taking months to get a refund. Absolutely hopeless. But you'd love to have their jobs.

Thanks so much to the Australian High Commission in Nairobi for getting this to me so quickly and for your professionalism and efficiency. As for our "honorary consulate" staff in Kampala, who were two and three hours late, with one of them arriving just in time for their 1.5 hour lunch break (also repeatedly absent), didn't give me all the info, and use a Gmail address, they should not have jobs. Other Aussies here have also described them as "useless".
