Our work/consumption infrastructure (aka capitalism) is designed to entrap us into doing evil or involuntarily supporting those who do evil. People have to survive, and it's natural to rationalize what we're being forced to do ("it's the way of the world").

There are two things you *can* do. One is to avoid unkind or hurtful actions on a personal level. The other is to step outside the machinery of evil (as is consistent with your day-to-day survival).

Liberals seem to have forgotten that the progress they once took for granted was only achieved through determined struggle and a willingness to take to the streets. Women's suffrage, civil/voting rights, LGBT civil rights all demanded sacrifice and suffering.

Nobody is going to save you, if you've given up the willingness to fight. You've got to hit them in the wallets, and make them fear for their power.

Today I’m mostly thinking it’s time to kick trades unions out of the way and go on #GeneralStrike to bring down our wealthy overlords and teach them who the real wealth creators are. All non-working people can show solidarity by engaging in a #ConsumerStrike. By January we could have our own #GreatReset.
