Colony is irregular edged, wet and whitish, looks like a somewhat spreading type: 1cm diameter after 48h microaerobic on blood agar.
Presume air/dust origin as it's only 1 colony on 1 plate out of a whole stack.
No stain done yet, but au naturel it looks like individual cocci, or perhaps small commas, and they are very twitchy.
Gram stain and a few other tests coming tomorrow! What do you think??
