The new Top Tens are out. Nothing new at the top, as contracts scholarship continues to live in the shadow cast by @HoffProf & @ProfArbel. But there is a John Rawls sighting at #5.

When I was in practice, we had a case in which the other party tried to claim that he had not signed a loan agreement that bore his notarized signature. The judge called it the stupidest argument he'd ever heard. In today's post, a Bitcoin mining company tries to get out of an agreement it didn't sign. But it accepted the goods & paid per contractual terms. Not quite as dumb, but still dumb.

One of the people pictured below blind-sided me on the second day of contracts class with a request that I write a blog post about the other. I've been sore all weekend.

Like viewers of "The Colbert Report," regular readers of the ContractsProf Blog are American heroes. Well, heroes, you will be outraged to learn that I have been attacked by another blogger. I set the record straight in today's Weekend Frivolity

I know you're all busy reading @Hoffprof & @ProfArbel on Generative Interpretation, but if you teach Williams v. Walker Thomas, you should read Duncan Kennedy's piece next, for a left-wing econ & law perspective on that old chestnut.
