It took me ~10 years, but I feel like I'm getting the hang of it now.

Notes on contributing to open source (GitHub et. al) when you have social anxiety:

1. Quietly fix a typo, add a helpful hyperlink, or raise an issue (following community guidelines)

2. Create a PR for some simple docs fixes.

3. Have PR merged, have name included in release notes - feel wonderful ✨

4. Using this boost in confidence write some helpful reproductions for other folks' issues. You might get many thumbs up this way *yay dopamine!*

5. Answer questions in discord/forums, try things out, offer solidarity that a user is struggling with a feature. Try to literally put yourself in their situation.

If you're unsure whether to make a #PR, just do it! The maintainer can reject it if they want to, but they can't blame you for not #contributing!

- #golang for the partially implemented app backed by #postgresql
