I feel slightly weirded-out whenever a vendor says "[product] supports CANBus, J1939, and Modbus communication!" but they provide no documentation about their messaging specification.
It always makes me wonder whether they're keeping secrets or I'm just being stupid. 😹

I have a technical Windows question for everyone here.
Is there a tool that will track the changes that an install file makes to a system, and then compare the state if I remove the software (with the included removal).
I want to test to see how much "extra" is left from installing various ICS software and IDEs.
A coworker just told me that we use "the Olympic algorithm" to process some sensor data.
I've never heard of that, and I'm forced to conclude that either he misheard something or there's a common sensor filter with a hilariously un-Googleable name. 😂
Today I learned there's some big controversy about the planned use of AI at the Paris games, though.

Me: What'll happen when I do that?
Rep: I'm not 100% sure, but really you should only need the first one so it's safe to remove the second.
