Is it a #ControversialOpinion that metrics for customer service make customer service worse? I'm having a hardware issue that requires sending in my work laptop - where I do my work - to the service center, but I obviously have to get a replacement first. Tech support keeps trying to close the ticket because there's no action within 24 hours. I get that having an open ticket for a few days affects their avg metric, but an incredibly irritated customer does not mean they're doing a good job. It's so counter-productive.

Of all the Christmas Carol film adaptations, the Muppet Christmas Carol is the closest to the source material. That, and Caine's fantastic performance give it an edge over the Alistair Sims to make it the best Christmas Carol.

Now granted, there are exceptions to this. But, I hate the mentality that you need something as fickle and as intangible as an internet platform full posts that are less than 500 characters. Do you know how many times I’ve edited this post to get my point across?
