Someone told me about #conventional-commits and now I want to try it on a live project. I've come across this before, but apparently now there's a whole slew of tools available. I understand that conventional commits originate from a JavaScript framework, but apparently there are some tools available that break out of this area. There's an IntelliJ plugin available. Maybe I'll try this next weekend.
