Chainmail bikini is one thing I can accept on SOME #Minis. But a boob window on a ninja outfit? No thank you!
Let's see if I can correct that with white gesso.

Just writing "crossbow" on the character sheet also looks like a good option...

#ConvertingMinis: I had to trim its visor/eye thingy a little, to make room for its new nose. Then it was sculpting and adding fur texture with gesso, as usual.

It's subtle but I think that, yes, IMHO, it looks more "gorillesque" and less orky.

I don't think it is necessary to sculpt fur on those minis. But it doesn't take long to add texture to the skin parts by applying thick, sticky gesso, with a brush with somewhat hard bristles.
So I tried that. We'll see how it will turn out in the end. Probably not spectacular but it won't ruin the mini. Probably.

While I was at it, I also drilled the barrel of the gun.

After a quick dinner and three episodes of Peaky Blinders season 5, it turned out that my Milliput mix was still "soft" enough to work with.
So I added a few details to the #IceToad before going to bed.

#ttm1 challenge: converting a cute green frog toy into an ugly  #Frostgrave #IceToad.
Using at least 20 years old Milliput paste (no fancy Greenstuff for me yet, thank you) and a toothpick.
The #PoorHammer way is really optionnal for me these days, but it's more fun.
Plus: I had to rush it in the end. (Like "Dinner is READY!" rush...)
Bah... painting brand new #minis would not be much of a challenge anyway.
