I'm not sure about self-hosting quite yet. I'm intrigued by #CookLang (https://cooklang.org/) as a potential option, because I am on a #Markdown kick with #ObsidianMD. That said, I haven't looked at it in depth yet, but I'm in love with the overall idea.

Stumbled across an #ObsidianMD plugin on #GitHub that supports #CookLang

Simply write your recipe in Markup and the plugin takes care of the rest - if you follow the 'CookLang' convention(s), images are displayed too!
