How's this for lunch? The peas were put into more water than the bowl could hold. The broth was placed in the bowl. The egg was dropped in along with the block of noodles.

When the noodles are done, so is the egg. Remove from heat.

Transfer to bowl; add water & peas. Top with cold sliced meat, a splash of fish sauce and a generous amount of teriyaki sauce directly on the meat and egg.

Serve to the lucky clod who thinks is for plebs.

We made for family today. Stuffed with smooshed chickpeas, prawns, some salt pork, bean sprouts & green onions. We eat them w/homegrown mint, lettuce & cucumbers with homemade sauce poured atop.
