I haven't posted a lot yesterday, but I had a great time with @Larzzzz playing Borderlands 3.
I had some anxiety when we got to the voice chat, but he was very nice and explained a lot and I never even died once! Whoop whoop!
It was a great coop experience and I'm looking forward to next week. Maybe I'll remember to save some video or screen grabs so I can write a blog post on it 😉

And last night was a good time as well. M came over and we tried out Rise to Nobility a dice worker placement #boardgame. Adrienne joined in too. It's a typical overwrought Kickstarter game I got in a trade but it played pretty well. Well enough I'm willing to give it another try. Then the 4 Guys Co-op had a tough time of it in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. There were some gnarly puzzles and challenges. We got thru, but it wasn't easy. #boardgames #videogames #coopgaming

Morning Mastodonians!

Well, M called in sick again last night (food poisoning!), so the rest of the 4 Guys Co-op group played Rainbow Six Siege again. At least this time, there were no update problems and connection inviting went more smoothly. Although after successfully finishing a map, the "Continue As A Group" button always failed and kicked us back to the main screen. Annoying. But at least we managed to clear more than one map. Pretty fun. #videogaming #coopgaming

Tonight hopefully the 4 Guys Co-op can get back to the Lara Croft game. It's been a while since we played, due to holidays and illnesses. It will probably take a bit of adjustment to get back into it. The controls are just so weird. But it has been pretty fun. So the Gang of 4 Co-op took on Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris last night. And lo, it was good. So much better with a controller than using a keyboard. Shooting is still a little weird. Hold down the trigger but you have to push the joystick to actually shoot. But running and, especially, pushing / pulling is far easier. And any game when I'm reduced to tears laughing is a good one.
