Did one of the dog’s fave walks today next to the municipal airport. She seems to feed off the energy from the morning traffic and the planes taking off. However I spend all my time making sure she doesn’t stick her nose somewhere gross. Pictured is an empty plastic bottle. There was at least a dozen empty liquor bottles along the road, and while I was tempted to pick them up, I had no trash bag or gloves. Gloves would be needed and the second most common discarded item was used condoms.

People are gross.

Hear me out - I'm reminded of the #PinkyGloves some #Cisgender #White #Men developed. They say they were motivated by their flat-mates' need to "discretely" dispose of #Tampons and pads. Which might require a smallish bag rather than a glove. I think the gloves were for them to be able to touch the bags without getting #Period #Cooties.

Solving a #Problem that doesn't exist is a waste of #Resources, especially when actual problems abound.

I used to sit by a Starbucks in Tarzana CA on Ventura Blvd. I think it was the first one they ever built too. I was like 17. Next door was a lingerie store. The owner introduced me to a very pretty girl who worked there. She told me her name was Soledad from Argentina. She drove a old Nissan Maxima. I think we saw a bad 80s movie together at the Mann Valley West Theater and made out. I never saw her again. She is now the queen of the Netherlands. Nothing really surprises me anymore. #cooties
