Been in our #woodland today, starting to tidy up some neglected #coppice at the lower end. Most of this area hasn't been worked since the end of world war 2. Neglected coppice will rot and die within 100 years or so, but properly managed coppice can last pretty much forever. A valuable resource and all produced with water, CO2, #solar energy and a few nutrients.

Experimenting with panoramas for tree photographs. My cousin recommended it to get the full tree without backing away too far. Pleased so far.

Today I did some #allotment stuff before the rain came in. Weeded my #mulberry and #rhubarb and mulched with woodchip. I also took out some dead branches from veteran #apple trees in the #coppice / #orchard I am establishing. Lots of overgrown undergrowth to clear out.
