Je tombe sur cet extrait du livre de R. Bachelot, c'est proprement stupéfiant de voir qu'elle se place en extrémiste de la propriété intellectuelle et critique l'UE alors que littéralement toutes les exigences de la France ont été acceptées sur la #copyrightdirective.

According to the Finnish Parliament’s Constitutional Law Committee, the EU #copyrightdirective is not compatible with the §16 of the Finnish Constitution “Educational Rights" https://libereurope.eu/article/the-fundamental-right-to-education-and-science-constitutional-law-v-copyright-law/
The §16(3) of the Finnish constitution states that "The freedom of #science, the arts and higher education is guaranteed". It is remarkably similar to the §33(1) of the Italian constitution. And yet, the Italian parliament did not raise any objection.

@aljazeera Europe (and others) need to look at what other commodities could at some point in the future serve as a weapon of extortion.
For one, it should build its own highly secure, accessible, multi-faceted digital environment, from OSs to servers to Office software to hardware, chips, etc.
They are nowhere, content with a few weakly thought-out public vanity projects. (See #CopyrightDirective.)
