564 followers · 1268 posts · Server mstdn.socialI finally fixed something in Cork that’s been bothering me for months. Now, when you start uninstalling a package / removing a tap from the sidebar, the progress spinner shows right there, next to the erlevant package / tap.
Can’t believe I haven’t done this sooner!
Of course, it takes into account situations where the uninstallation / removal fails :)

I noticed that when you’d update a lot of large casks, Cork would sometimes appear stuck, even if it was just waiting for the package to finish downloading / replacing the old version.
In the next version, I added a short text to tell you what stage of the package update you’re currently in; now, you will see whether the package is being downloaded, backed up, etc. so you don’t feel like the process is stuck.

One of the more-requested features has finally arrived; now you can install the most-installed packages across all of Homebrew! Of course, it takes into account the packages you already have installed, so it won’t show any duplicates. Check out the video!
