In case you end up following me, my job is to help conserve one of Irelands most threatened bird species- the corncrake.
This hot mess is 100 tons of Farmyard manure planted with nettles. Looks crap (pun intended) but in spring it will be a lush patch of vegetation for these migrant birds to hide in.
