Oh, will they? When time to hire is going up and folks are talking of 9+ interviews for jobs, forgive me if I don’t share this optimism. And I suspect most unemployed people who are struggling do not share it either.

I’ve warned multiple times that:
a) The Great Resignation would not last forever
b) I didn’t see all of these companies walking back RTO
c) if Corpo America says you’re goin’ back, you’re goin’ back
d) hybrid is merely a stepping stone to full Mon-Fri RTO for a lot of companies.

Work is , in theory, supposed to be a mutually beneficial arrangement between two parties. It is supposed to be a relatively balanced employer-employee relationship.

While we know that is not always the case, I am just going to say it anyway- if you want people to be their best selves then you need to be your best organization.
