I see and hear comms people everywhere trying to figure out what to tell clients about Mastodon. Most will probably recommend to carefully dip in toes as an insurance policy if Twitter collapses. Given how this federated platform works, I reckon it won't work for brands - neither technologically nor culturally or in terms of performance metrics (ye olde and holy engagement grail). Which isn't a bad thing.
