Agreed. #moderation is a sticky wicket. And the degree to which users are (or aren't) the publisher in #law, in different jurisdictions is important for #liability in #socialMedia #publishing. One wonders if there might be merit in forming a small #charity to host an instance, to act as a sort of limited liability entity that protects the individual host from unlimited liability.

But what I recently learnt from my US colleagues is that in #USA, employees of a public-held corporation are required by law to work in the interest of the stock-holders (i.e. maximise profit/dividends), and are also directly liable to them.
This is not so in Europe (I know at least for 🇸🇮, 🇩🇪 , 🇪🇸 , 🇫🇷 ) BTW, so that was a surprise!

Welp, I suppose it was inevitable!
The first 2.0 suit was filed today in Delaware Court of Chancery—
it was filed under seal against Twitter by John Barnett formerly of Chroma Labs. The complaint will be made public in five business days.
The suit if for declaratory relief and specific performance of a restricted stock agreement, which imma assume was not paid as promised in the merger agreement, RSA, and proxy.
