I'm making a new Victorian corset, and doing some test swatches because I've never made a corded corset. I guess I'm going to have to cut the top fabric *a lot* larger than I guessed! The cording eats up fabric. The black fabric on the bottom is the original pattern piece size. #corset #corsetmaking

This is the first corset I ever made, as well as a first attempt at a chemise. Both were made with Laughing Moon patterns. I really love the look the green jaquard gives it, maybe I'll eventually add some flossing to really make it pop.

This is a silk dupioni Edwardian underbust corset I made this year. I also made the shift blouse I'm wearing underneath, but I'll post some photos from the shoot I made it for to show it off better later.
