Our three year old is neurodivergent (like us!) and high needs in some areas. Sleep is a big one. We've always coslept, and if we didn't take it in turns to finish the night in their bed they'd climb into ours. This way at least one parent gets a night's sleep uninterrupted by wriggling each night.

Fell asleep putting kiddo to bed and woke up wrapped an hour later feeling dehydrated and discombobulated.
