I just really hope they get usability and accessibility right. I gave up on ElementaryOS when I saw they followed the silly fad of having active and inactive windows be basically the same shade and color. I just can't use that. It breaks 39 years of low-level neural optimizations. I shouldn't have to break out a Pantone swatch to figure out which window has focus! 🤣

This screenshot from @system76's latest #cosmic related blog post gives me so many #MaterialYou vibes. People knowing me know i absolutely love this implementation of #materialdesign . I can't describe how much i want cosmic. I am sure this theming system will make for a very personalized and enjoyable, modern looking experience on the #linuxdesktop !

I just discover the #Cosmic project that @system76 is working on and just want to say... It's looks amazingly promising so far! I can't wait for other Distros to drop new releases with it 🤑

From what i see, #cosmic will be, what gnome could have been. A performant linux desktop built from scratch with native tiling functionality and material design is exactly what the linux community wants and needs. Keep up the great work @system76 !

@system76 definitely gets things right in terms of theming with #COSMIC on #PopOS. Of course, it's easier to develop a complex dynamic theme engine based on dynamic colors rather than retrofitting #GNOME with it's lot of legacy baggage and hard-coded values. But I think them spearheading a proper accent based theming platform drove velocity for this feature in GNOME as well, benefiting us all.
