In the mid 2000s, each security bulletin was like a novella, digging into everything one might need to know about the vuln. What happened is sadly predictable -- as Microsoft localized bulletins into more languages, translation became a significant cost and, thus, everything was reduced to a formula so that there was less & less to be translated. Apparently, they're down to two sentences of actual content now.
