These cottonwood trees grow along the road where I run and walk the dogs. I can't remember that I have ever seen any greenery - like leaves - on them. If there is no greenery...you'd think they were dead. I am going to check them out closer this year to see. Do you think they would be alive yet still have no greenery at all?
