Man, I'm just going to quit watching anything on #FOX because any time I get interested in a show, they end up cancelling it. Usually without properly wrapping up all the storyline threads they've started that I've gotten invested in. Ugh. "The Resident", "Terra Nova", "Firefly"... and probably more I'm forgetting all down the drain.

Summing up my day:

Found out my dad is ok. He's staying in observation for about 3 days. So good news on that front, phew.

I'm still feeling blah. Stuffed nose, dry cough and headaches. This is worse than that time I had covid (almost no symptoms, lucky).

Finished watching The Dropout. Excellent, highly recommend.

I am pretty sure the couch and I are one now. Can't tell where I begin and the couch ends.

The new DVD player works! So now I can play any region DVDs (OK I could do that before but then that player started to break) and also apparently any blu ray region. Anyway, I have a bunch of DVDs ready to watch:

- Shiva Baby
- Fiddler on the Roof
- Let Me In
- (the rest of) The Story of the Jews
- American Werewolf in London
- um the Jewish one with Natalie Portman in
- a few others

Will do a little Hebrew study now. Pretty tired.
