Yesterday I was talking with a member of the tech staff of my University. He told me that the introduction of Microsoft Cloud was met with substantial resistance from tech staff, delaying it for 8 years. And that it was expected that the cloud will reduce staff, but now they find out it is the opposite: so they lay off Linux people and hire Microsoft people instead. Under the banner of security.
And then he was handing me over an unmanaged device.
