I’m not #CurrentlyListening, but I’ve been plowing through the #Spiritbox discography for the second time in like a week. It took me a couple of tries to get into them before they really clicked with me, but now I can’t get enough of it and #CourtneyLaPlante is a fucking #HeavyMetalGoddess!

#CourtneyLaPlante hat durch ihre variable Stimme einfach noch ein weiteres Register zur Verfügung, und das setzt sie um in eine krasse Dynamik!

Dazu kommt aber noch die sehr abwechslungsreiche Songstruktur und das Ineinandergreifen verschiedener Melodien und Rhythmen. Auch wirklich geil: Bass, Schlagzeug und Gitarre spielen oft perkussiv, alle knallhart auf den Punkt.

Can't get enough of this band. ❤️🤘😊

The way Courtney LaPlante switches from clean vocals to screaming, growling... Love it so much!

📚 Spiritbox is a Canadian metalcore band that formed in 2017. Lead singer Courtney LaPlante and guitarist Michael Stringer were previously playing in the band iwrestledabearonce, which was an experimental mathcore band.

🗣️ Courtney is awesome. That’s it. In all honesty her vocal abilities are quite amazing, the way she can go from cleans into screams and vice versa is amazing. The song I shared has a great example of this at the end. Some other great tracks: Holy Roller, Rule Of Nines and Secret Garden.
