@dropbear42 Thank you for the blunt reminder - currently Australia is reporting around 3000 cases per day and 7 deaths per day (down from 55 per day in January). Past trends show this will increase as we move into winter. Those in the photo are young and don’t have too much to fear from COVID - but people over 65 (who make up 97% of fatalities) and who do not take sensible precautions (masks, updated boosters) are at a significant risk of serious disease and death. #COVIDsNotOver

@rchusid Great stuff. If you’re under 65 & don’t wear a mask you’re callous but it won’t kill you -if you are over 65 and don’t wear a mask you’re ill informed and it might kill you (1% probability). Wearing a proper mask is better than 2 surgical or cloth masks. KF94 (Official Korean) are virtually as good as N95 and much easier to breath through. There are 300 deaths per day in the US from COVID and it is heading back up (2500 deaths a day in January 2022) #covidsnotover
