Weirdly enough, this whole situation has renewed the conversation on masks with my immediate family.

I was very firm when they said they wanted to visit my relative that they needed to #MaskUp for their safety and the safety of my relative.

They didn't know there was a #CovidSurge - thankfully, they believed me when I told them.

I offered to send them high-quality masks (for at least the 4th or 5th time), and they FINALLY agreed.

My Dad even said (without prompting), "Your mom could wear one on the plane when she comes to see you."

Yes, it sounds wild that this is progress.
