When I was a child, I had no idea that the then-popular schoolyard game “Cowboys and Indians” had been name that because it much easier to say than “Racist, Misogynist, Pillagers, Kidnappers, Rapists, Human-Traffickers, Slavers, and Sociopaths Attacking Indigenous Peoples Who Are Desperately Trying to Defend Themselves, Their Families, Their Homes, Their Lands, and Their Sovereignty.” It sounds nicer, too!
