While I’m interested in #InfoSec subjects, I’ve been emphatically focused as a #SoftwareDeveloper for almost 20 years and didn’t have the background, skills, aptitude, or drive in the new role.

For six miserable months, I came in to work every day feeling like an impostor until I found a #dev job at another company. Did they intend to get rid of me? Who knows.

I've worked with #cPanel for years, and it's amazing that not only is live transfer still the default action when moving an account, but that the option to turn it off is hidden next to a sign that says 'beware of the leopard'.

I use #NextCloud on a #digitalOcean droplet. I have full control of my data and no one else has access, so no snooping.

It's a bit of work to install and manage updates/upgrades, but not too technical. Nextcloud is also available through #cPanel, which is less effort and may be cheaper, depending on the hosting service.
