I discovered a very informative series on Spotify (originally on YouTube?) called Crash Course Black American History. The series is broken into short episodes of about 12 minutes, starting with the Transatlantic Slave Trade. The details are disturbing to hear but I felt I had to listen in order to learn a different perspective of what I was taught (or not taught) in school.
