About thirty years ago I delivered pizzas on the fourth of July. Crappy tips and also what gave me a gigantic fear of #firecrackers and #fireworks one block right during the height of the #crazypeople lighting M80s and spinners, i came back to my truck seeing a spinner slamming against the curb under my truck. I jumped in and people were throwing things under as i drove off. Firecrackers going off near my door. And aince then, i hate the fourth of july.

This is cool - Even if you're not a #surfing fan, you might want to watch Wednesday's Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational, set to run on the north shore of #Oahu #Hawaii. This event only goes if the surf is huge, and not since 2016. They're expecting 40-50 foot wave fronts in Waimea Bay.

Oooh...the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational is on for north shore of Oahu #Hawaii this Wednesday with up to 50-foot surf faces expected in Waimea Bay.

This event only runs if the surf is huge. Then the organizers call in all the nutty big 🌊 surfers from around the world.
