Firstly I experienced anxiety on stage. I was performing and suddenly felt sea sick, everyone was laughing at me. I had an out of body experience. I left the gig holding back tears in deep emotional pain.

I was awake at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep. Because of the driveway in the house we are building. My brain then went skipping down a dark path. I thought about getting up to write this #poem down, but didn't. There was more to it that I don't remember this morning. I also planned a mixed media self-portrait which is encouraging/scary.

Maybe a strange question but do you ever get a creative block after buying new camera equipment? I’ve experienced that several times. The last time was a few weeks ago when I got a new lens for my old Fuji X-M1. Since then I’ve hardly picked up the camera. I bring that or some other camera almost every day, but I just don’t get around to taking pictures. I really don’t know why and it feels so weird. Probably just me that’s wired in a strange way 😂😂😂

I am a strong believer in the concept that there is no #CreativeBlock, just bad habits. However I have to admit that on some days, like today, I am just not in the mood to follow good habits. Which unfortunately results in the same problem, I can't #GetShitDone. 😐

Here is a piece I created using gouache, oil pastel, and pencil… there was some collage involved in creating the base but I was just looking for texture & it was all eventually covered up.

I have completed a few of these but I’d like to explore it some more. I’m experiencing some artistic block these days. I’ll get into it again over the winter. I hope.
