I made a lampshade for the first time recently! The original was a sad faux-rustic brown paper shade with a mostly-disintegrated plastic structure underneath, so I removed that and used its hoops and some landfill-bound fabric to create this funky lil' piece! It goes so well with my living room!

Over the last couple of months, I’ve been very gradually making a graph paper notebook entirely out of supplies I had at home. I had previously made little pamphlet notebooks, but this time I tried Coptic stitching for the first time so I could make a thicker book and use up all the loose graph paper I had sitting around.

So this is very much a beginner’s project; I’m pleased with the result.
