Completed the Realm of Dusnain one of the 10 Kingdoms of my fantasy setting, Embers of Soteria.

In Dusnain, a realm of rugged mountains, light woods, and sparse pasture lands, life is guided by a complex tapestry of values, traditions, and social norms. The society is deeply rooted in principles of duty, integrity, and honor, which are evident in every facet of life—from governance and law to trade and relationships. The Witanmoot Council, a representative body of elected officials, serves as the cornerstone of the realm's political structure, while the judiciary enforces a stringent legal code. Trade is a vital aspect of Dusnain's economy, with gemstones, minerals, wool, and herbal remedies being the primary exports. The realm's currency system is equally intricate, featuring standard coins made of platinum, gold, silver, and copper, as well as special currencies like Lorekoin and Adossaglap, which hold ceremonial and contractual significance.

Education is highly valued, with every city and village hosting schools for the young and universities gracing the major cities. The realm's unique geography and climate have shaped its economy, leading to a focus on mining and textiles, particularly wool. The society is pragmatic, often prioritizing practical considerations over romantic inclinations in matters of love and courtship. Marriage is generally not for love but for social and economic stability, often sealed with Adossaglap, a token of debt and honor among nobles. Despite the realm's pragmatic approach to life, spirituality holds a significant place, with the pantheon of deities like Aelia, Eruer, and Osyn influencing the moral and ethical fabric of the society. The realm is dotted with significant locations like the Ruins of Wulfre Keep, a religiously holy site, and the Six Cities of Bariande, the capital and seat of power. Overall, Dusnain is a realm where tradition and modernity coexist, creating a rich and complex cultural landscape.

9: have you ever abandoned a project?

All the time, though it's mostly down to my neurological issues, where I start things but rarely finish. In recent times, however, the only things I've finished were for my and assignments.

Does anyone else wait until the second or third draft of a project to find the right name for it?

1: I only found out about this late yesterday...

I'm a and undergrad student at the .

I don't currently have any published works, at the moment, as I'm only really just starting out. I write in fantasy (both urban and high), and romance/erotica, with a dash of crime. I'm also planning on doing this year.

What else would you like to know?

Another creation! This in my game. It is the Kingdom of Braerbar of Elder Soteria.

wiki.moltenaether.com/Kingdom_

Braebar, a kingdom nestled amidst dense jungles and rugged mountains, is a realm steeped in tradition, resilience, and spirituality. Its people, bound by a shared reverence for the deity Aelia, navigate a world where the mystical and the mundane intertwine. The Braebarians, known for their stoic nature and unwavering sense of duty, are shaped by a matriarchal society where women lead in public spheres, while men uphold the sanctity of home and hearth. With a political landscape influenced by divine signs and a vigilant stance against the threats of the Severed Realm and Dark Aether, Braebar stands as a bastion of strength and unity in a world fraught with challenges.

The life of an editor …

Problematic words can leave you stumped. In this case, two submitted stories, one using the word "gypsy" and the other "ghetto." Now, nearly any word can be given the thumbs up depending on context, but determining whether that context has been met isn't always obvious, especially for not-always-a-pejorative words. And so, here I am trying to determine whether two short stories need to be rejected or not. Oi.

Did some yesterday and fleshed out the Oflar Empire based on recommendations from my players. I like it, I like it a lot.

The Oflar Empire, with its capital in Harwold, stretches from the rugged foothills of the Penda Bluffs in the west to the imposing Naramunz Mountains in the east. To the south, the arid expanse of the Sadir Desert, once the dominion of Emirkol the Chaotic, marks its boundary, while a formidable mountain range defines its northern frontier. Governed by the Divine Triarchy and the Council of Elders, the empire seamlessly blends meritocratic principles with egalitarian values. Trade is uniquely characterized by Time-Tithe, Sakralfrid Scrolls, and Sacred Stones, embodying the Oflarians' reverence for time, knowledge, and nature.

As a side-note, I know that the system of governance and economic system are not really standard for a setting, but I like them anyway. I like to imagine that the lang is rather peaceful right now and that some places have learned from their previous mistakes. I still need to define a few things, such as the Emirkol the Chaotic from the past, but that'll come later.
